(More customer reviews)I have owned "The Art Book" for many years and liked it very much - so much that I wanted other books like it. This book fit that need perfectly, as it covers many artists and paintings that the other "all about art" books don't touch upon. I actually got this on the clearance table at Barnes and Noble for $5 (not $55, as advertised here!) but I do think that the book is well worth spending $30 or $35 for, at least. Lovely glossy pages, chock full of well-informed information. Lovely!
