(More customer reviews)GULF WAR ONE, The Trilogy, it about 684 pages long but it only took me three days to read it. The story weaves the characters introduced at the beginning into a braid of trial and tribulation that, surprisingly, has a happy ending!
I say 'surprisingly' because so many books out there don't have love stories about real people and situations or they are so 'action packed' as to be non-believable. This Trilogy is very believable in describing the airplanes, how they function and the locations of the battles.
The Gulf War was about Saddam going into Kuwait after Kuwait was stealing Iraq's oil but this is not mentioned in the story. Instead, the author, Alan Drabke, writes about the personal relationships between the characters in the military and non-military. He masterfully writes a book that could easily be made into a motion picture. The battle scenes would be a great video game!!
